Russell Hobbs - Brentwood, TN
Russell Hobbs has spent the last 36 years enjoying dressing hair in Miami, Atlanta and Nashville where he is currently a Master Educator for Studio FX Salon training associates with Summit Salons. Previous to this, Russell was a salon owner for 12 years and an instructor for Empire Schools. He was awarded Empire's Educator of the Year three times and was the 2014 Unite Magazine Stylist of the Year.
Russell says that, "Hairdressing is not work to me, its art I create every day." Russell Hobbs became acquainted with Bonnie Megowan and Bonika Shears when he owned a salon in Atlanta. Even though he near works and resides in the Brentwood area of Nashville he still uses them for sharpening and shears, recommending them to his many students.
