2000 Grit waterstone for creating ridelines on shears. This is the Naniwa Gouken Kagayaki or "Shine Stone"
Naniwa is one of the best Japanese whetstone manufacturer Naniwa. 2000 is the preferred grit for Japanese stones in shear manufacturing. This is a splash and go stone that does not easily dish out. It comes in a nice plastic case that serves as a stand. The stone can be filled to either side so that you can go longer between flattening. Yellow color. Clear case.
Actual stone is 1o mm thick, 70 mm X 210 mm or 3/8" thick and surface 2 3/4 X 8 1/4"
