Join Bonnie Megowan with Ricky Page for a full day of hands-on work focusing on convex edges, technique correction, and solving your most difficult shear challenges.

What We’ll Focus On

Morning: Convex Edge Technique

A detailed walk-through of proper convex work on the flat hone, including:

• correct angles

• establishing your ride line

• preventing over-grinding

• correct polishing sequence

• how to check your work at every stage

You’ll sharpen while Bonnie and Ricky watch and adjust your technique.

Afternoon: Problem-Solving Workshop

Bring:

• your flat hone

• your tools

• your “problem shears”

We’ll work through issues such as:

• nicks

• alignment concerns

• uneven edges

• stubborn steels

• shears that “don’t cut” after sharpening

• thinning shear challenges

This is hands-on correction, not a lecture.
