Our fish logo was chosen with purpose. First, the fish predates even the cross as a symbol of Christianity, and it serves as a constant reminder of our mission to honor Christ in all we do.
Second, the fish is a universal symbol of prosperity and adaptability—able to thrive across borders and cultures. That reflects our heart: to equip people everywhere with the skills to succeed, whether it’s “Teach a person to cut hair” or “Teach a person to sharpen.”
The "B" inside the fish stands for Bonika Shears, a name rooted in purpose and excellence.

The 28th Sharpeners Jam
June 27–29 | Loganville, Georgia
Limited to 35 in-person attendees
For 28 years, sharpeners have gathered at Jam to learn, reconnect, and exchange ideas that often change the way they sharpen — sometimes permanently.
Sharpeners Jam is part seminar, part fellowship, and part idea exchange. This is an intimate, small-room gathering designed for serious sharpeners who want to improve their craft and strengthen their business.
Seating is limited to 35 total in-person registrations.

During Saturday’s program, Bonnie will host a small-group, hands-on convex shear sharpening session at the Bonika office.
This session includes:
• Introduction to convex geometry
• Demonstration on the Scimech Flat Hone
• Hands-on guided sharpening
• Discussion of common convex mistakes
• Rideline work
Convex Lab Registration:
3-Day Pass attendees who wish to reserve one of the 7 hands-on spots should email us after completing registration.
Spots are confirmed in the order requests are received.
