    Helpful class

Not sure what other person was talking about. I just took the class and they had blades for me to practice with. Bonnie was the teacher for the class. The Megowan's and Mystie were very kind and treated me like family.

    Not very 'hands on'

Posted by Sarah Spelbring on 3rd Jul 2016

All the Megowans were exceedingly friendly and helpful and had a large amount of hand outs and diagrams. However, there were no clipper blades available to practice on except for some from an actual customer - and I was not allowed to do much to them. Clipper blade sharpening is a very tricky thing to learn initially, and not being able to 'learn from mistakes' made this training little better than watching a video, a very expensive video. I left the training without having successfully sharpened a single blade. Harry did have some helpful recommendations for tools and products and where to buy them from. Fortunately I later trained elsewhere and am having much success with clipper blade sharpening and clipper repair.

Harry's clipper training was very educational, please thank him for me. The training was very professional and in a comfortable setting.
